Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient medical-surgical nursing care for adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients across a 32-bed unit
• Perform patient assessments, education, and clinical skills within a busy Level 1 trauma center environment
• Utilize EPIC for all electronic documentation and AcuDose for medication management
• Float to Medical Surgical units across multiple facility locations within Fargo as needed
• Participate in rotating schedule that may include day and night shifts based on unit needs; self-scheduling is available with unit-balance considerations
• Badge in and out at the facility for all shifts; required scrub color is Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Active BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1 trauma center, 200+ beds)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
• Ability and willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit across multiple Fargo locations
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates living between 60 and 80 miles may be considered at a local travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Trauma and Orthopedic Trauma patient populations
• Familiarity with Hip Fracture Program protocols or The Joint Commission (TJC) certified care programs
• Experience with AcuDose or similar automated medication dispensing systems
