Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a telemetry float pool, floating within the hospital as needed based on skill set
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; must pass a facility-proctored EKG exam requiring at least 85% overall accuracy and 100% accuracy in identifying critical rhythms
• Manage IV cardiac medications and continuous infusions for a telemetry patient population
• Participate in stroke care and management, applying NIHSS assessment skills
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic
• Adhere to a patient ratio of 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start
• NIHSS certification required (may be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent telemetry or step-down experience
• Proficiency with Epic for clinical charting
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with critical drips and CVA/stroke patient populations
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with stroke care protocols and management
