Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical/Telemetry (3 East Family Medicine)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients meeting Medicine or Medical Telemetry admission criteria
• Apply a higher level of clinical proficiency to manage the complexity of a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing individualized care plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Demonstrated higher level of clinical proficiency due to the complexity of the unit
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
