Seasonal Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU

Denver, CO | Acute Care – NICU (Level III)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a Level III NICU setting, managing a critically ill neonatal and pediatric patient population
• Perform advanced airway management and ventilator management utilizing equipment including G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, and V60/V30
• Deliver ED support as needed in coordination with the respiratory care department
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current NICU RRT experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
• Level III NICU experience required
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• NBRC Certification required
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of overall respiratory therapy experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical care experience in a respiratory therapy role
• PICU experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
