Contract | Variable Shift (Evening & Night) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room setting with an expected nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Work a variable shift schedule covering evening hours (2:00 PM – 2:30 AM) and night hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling, with potential for back-to-back weekends based on unit needs
• Float to other units within the facility based on census and skill set, as needed
• May be required to float to sister facilities in the surrounding region to meet staffing needs
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment using the designated learning platform

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or emergency room setting
• Comfort and flexibility with floating to multiple units or facilities
