Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required on both; maximum of 2 attempts permitted)
• Participate in holiday rotation — traveler must work at least every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency and pre-start modules as directed by the facility
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including background check completion within 48 hours of contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of Emergency Room experience required; travel experience will be considered
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license must be active and in hand at time of submission — non-negotiable
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission — pending certifications will not be accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Room specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• No open background check cases or license hits will be accepted
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience within a single Emergency Room location preferred, though combined experience will be considered
