Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30); hours may vary as shifts extend until procedures are complete
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub and monitor duties in a high-volume cath lab environment, supporting approximately 20–25 cases per day across 4–5 labs
- Demonstrate proficiency in coronary diagnostic and interventional scrub and monitor techniques
- Participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 7 weeks plus a call shift and evening shift each week; call requirements may vary based on staffing needs
- Work holidays as needed
- Chart using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT or RCIS required (registered or in process)
- South Carolina SCRQSA license required; candidates with a pending license may be considered with proof of application, but must have an active license prior to start
- Radiation badge required — must be provided by the placing agency
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Experience working in a high-volume, multi-lab cath lab environment
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
