CVICU Registered Nurse – Nights

Contract | Nights | 3 days per week, 18:00–06:30 | Expected 5 weekend days per 6-week rotation | Self-scheduling with occasional flexibility requests

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic equipment including Edwards Life Sciences CCO, Tablo, Autocat II, and Impella
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for critically ill cardiovascular patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in accordance with facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state license
• Current hands-on experience in a CVICU or similar critical care environment
• Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and support devices (CCO, Impella, IABP)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Tablo dialysis system in a critical care setting
• Familiarity with Impella device management and weaning protocols
• CCRN or other relevant critical care certification
