Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 6:45–19:15) | Weekends and Holidays Required | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Administer aerosolized medications via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
• Provide Chest Physical Therapy (CPT), Incentive Spirometry, and Oxygen Therapy
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy for appropriate patients
• Perform arteriocentesis as part of diagnostic and treatment protocols
• Document and manage patient care using the Epic EMR system
• Float to units as needed per departmental requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active compact or Tennessee state license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 12–18 months required; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt only — failure may result in cancellation or additional unbillable orientation hours added to contract)
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred
• Experience in respiratory/neuro diagnostics settings
