Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma operating room environment
• Rotate between day and evening schedules; typical pattern includes three day shifts plus one off shift (off shift options: 0845–1915, 1045–2115, or 1245–2315)
• Perform both circulator and scrub roles across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Participate in weekday on-call rotation (one weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call per four-week schedule block)
• Work 2 out of 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet unit and patient care needs; no block schedules available

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Vermont or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in a large hospital (500+ beds) with Level 1 Trauma designation required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Proficiency in both circulator and scrub roles; skills checklists for both must be included in submission packet

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong general OR background with demonstrated skills across multiple specialties including orthopedics, urology, oncology, Da Vinci Robotics, general surgery, ENT, dental, plastics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular/thoracic, and trauma
• Complete and detailed work history including bed count, EMR system, and facility type for all positions
• All employment gaps exceeding 90 days should be explained in submission materials
