Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Major holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit setting with a high-acuity patient population
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate-level care, including those on continuous drip infusions
- Operate and manage equipment such as arterial lines and respiratory support devices (BiPAP/Airvo)
- Float to lesser acuity units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of PCU/Step-Down RN experience
- Active Missouri RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Must be a non-nicotine user in compliance with facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing high-acuity drip infusions
- Arterial line experience
- BiPAP and/or Airvo respiratory support experience
