IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Days | Onsite | Shifts: 7:30–16:00 or 8:30–17:00 with call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and circulate cardiac cases across a 4-suite lab averaging 10 cases per day
• Scrub devices, peripheral, IR, and vascular cases
• Provide on-call coverage 1–2 weeknights per week, 1 weekend every three weeks, and 2 holiday weekends per year with a 30-minute call response time
• Float into EP lab to assist with circulating or scrubbing as needed
• Clock in and out at the facility using facility timekeeping systems

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience monitoring, recording, and circulating cardiac cases
• Experience scrubbing device, peripheral, IR, and vascular cases
• Proficiency with Cerner and Merge EMR/equipment systems
• If previously employed at this facility, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, PVD, HF, PE, cardiac, and EP patient populations
• Familiarity with EP lab procedures including circulating and scrubbing
• Comfort working in a high-volume, multi-specialty lab environment with 24/7 cardiologist coverage
