Contract (13-Week Assignment) | Full-Time | Days | 36 hours per week | 4 x 9-hour shifts | Weekend call rotation included
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients in the ASU/PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
- Participate in weekend call rotation as scheduled
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe patient transitions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ASU/PACU or Critical Care unit
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a fast-paced surgical or perioperative environment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in post-anesthesia care
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic clinical setting
