Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 16-Week Assignment | Projected Start: October 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across the full facility as part of a team of 14–16 RRTs, covering adult acute, adult critical care, pediatric acute care, ED, NICU, and PICU settings
- Manage ventilator patients using equipment including Drager V500/VN500, Hamilton T1/C1, Respironics V30/V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
- Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:25 in acute care and 1:8 in critical care settings
- Float across departments as required, including NICU/PICU, pediatric acute care, ED, and adult critical care
- Fulfill call requirements, including 2-hour call obligation for the oncoming shift
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required for NICU coverage
- Minimum 3 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Experience in a tertiary, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center required
- Ability to float to NICU/PICU, pediatric acute care, ED, and adult acute and critical care environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- NICU and/or PICU experience strongly preferred
- Cardiothoracic respiratory therapy experience preferred
- Proficiency with a broad range of ventilator platforms
