Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PET scans for an adult and geriatric oncology patient population in an outpatient cancer center setting
• Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment, including GE Omni, to acquire diagnostic nuclear medicine images
• Perform venipuncture, blood draws, and IV placement and maintenance for radiopharmaceutical administration
• Safely handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in accordance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to isolation precautions and appropriate PPE protocols throughout all procedures
• Manage an approximate daily patient volume of 12 patients with accuracy and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Active New York State Department of Health License (must be in hand or have an ETA on issue date at time of submission)
• NMTCB Certification (hard copy required)
• Demonstrated PET imaging experience
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV initiation and maintenance, and radioactive material handling
• Two managerial references required (Charge RN references are not acceptable)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT (N) and/or ARRT (PET) certification
• PET/CT experience and familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Previous Charge Technologist experience and/or hospital-based imaging experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
