Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with traumatic injuries and acute medical emergencies in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document care using Epic electronic health records
• Administer and electronically record all medications delivered to patients
• Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to deliver timely, high-quality care across a large, state-of-the-art department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Manage a diverse patient population requiring immediate intervention in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must not have worked at this facility (permanent, per diem, or contract) within the past 6 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, high-volume Emergency Department
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations within an ED setting
• Strong adaptability and availability during holiday periods
