Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 3:15 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room setting
• Participate in on-call rotation; weekday call hours are 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM, assigned per call rotation schedule
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including coverage across like units as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in weekend coverage as needed, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
• During hurricane season (June–November), be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license — must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to adapt to varying call schedules and staffing needs
