Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg Telemetry and IMC units as part of a float pool assignment
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment
• Provide care for patients presenting with conditions such as acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma
• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in accordance with facility scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent Epic EMR experience is required
• Minimum 2+ years of Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) experience in a hospital setting
• Minimum 2+ years of IMC unit experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Flu shot and 2-step PPD required — no exceptions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this role)
• Comfort with high-acuity patient populations including cardiac and respiratory conditions
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning online education platforms
