Contract | Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care physical therapy services to patients within an inpatient hospital setting
• Document patient care and progress using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other areas as needed
• Complete required facility orientation modules during the orientation week

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia state PT license or compact state license required at time of submittal; Virginia temporary license accepted if a valid license from another state is held
• Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• 2 professional references required
• Must be available for background review; return staff (travelers and permanent) must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same base rate; no radius restrictions apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple units or departments within scope of practice
• Familiarity with acute inpatient therapy workflows and documentation standards
