Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required (Every Other) | Block Schedule Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple units, including floor care, emergency room, code response, and rapid response situations
• Float between units as needed within the facility and potentially to nearby sister facilities
• Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:11
• Document and chart patient care using Epic
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Valid Washington State respiratory therapy license must be in hand at time of submission (compact license accepted if in hand)
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience required
• Must commit to a block schedule and all RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma, or Level II Pediatric Trauma setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity environments including ER and rapid response teams
• Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
