Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:00) | Onsite | Rotating weekends approximately every 3–4 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services within a short-term acute care setting
• Float between units as needed to support patient care across the facility
• Maintain a patient caseload with expected ratios of approximately 8–9 patients to 1 therapist
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
• Acute care experience is required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a modified rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Must be willing to float to nearby sister facilities as needed during the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience is a plus
• Experience charting in Epic electronic health records
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
