Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Expected schedule: Night (19:00–07:30) / Day (07:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at least every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required; co-worker references are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty experience, though combined experience across locations is considered
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication safety assessment tools
• Experience working in a large academic or high-acuity hospital environment
