Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules
• Adhere to all facility policies, compliance standards, and unit-specific protocols
• Complete all required pre-start modules prior to assignment start date

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of permanent Emergency Room experience required
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications — all must be in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Room specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprint clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• No open background or license hits; all background findings are subject to facility review
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Permanent ER experience consolidated within a single facility is preferred, though not required
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and electronic medication administration platforms
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance in high-volume health systems
