Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, delivering safe and high-quality nursing services
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• May float to other units within the same patient population as operationally needed
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations, with an acceptable score required on both
• Rotate holiday coverage, with an expectation of working at least every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility modules as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required — co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single facility or location for the required specialty experience, though not mandatory
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large academic or high-volume hospital setting
