Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to the appropriate clinical team members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York or a compact license recognized in NY
- Experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in SNF settings
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced care environment
