Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room and/or ER Holding environment
• Assess, monitor, and manage patients across a broad age range including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate emergency protocols as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Emergency Room, ER Holding, or Medical/Surgical Telemetry
• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Active PALS certification required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an ER Holding unit is strongly preferred
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with caring for diverse patient age groups including pediatric through geriatric populations
