Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely in accordance with facility protocols, as assessed via safeMedicate during orientation
• Document and track hours worked using the designated time-tracking platform
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references not accepted)
• Must achieve an acceptable score on both the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of two attempts permitted)
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Medical Surgical / Telemetry location preferred, though combined experience will be considered
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience working within a large health system environment
