Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts per week | 8-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week | Weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetrical bedside nursing care within a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
• Circulate in cesarean section procedures within the Labor and Delivery setting
• Recover high-acuity obstetrical patients following delivery and surgical procedures
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care
• Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech and CPN systems
• Float to the antepartum unit within the Women's Hospital as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience
• Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certificate required
• Experience with high-risk, high-volume obstetrical patient populations
• Ability to adhere to AWHONN staffing ratios (e.g., cervical ripening 2:1, triage 3:1, active/pit labor 1:1, unstable mag 1:1)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk OB including magnesium sulfate management and pitocin administration
• Familiarity with GE fetal monitoring equipment
• Prior experience documenting in Meditech and/or CPN
• Experience floating to antepartum units within a Women's Hospital setting
