Contract | Full-Time | Days (07:00–19:30) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for rehabilitation patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, discharge planning, and home care instructions
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Kentucky (or compact eligibility)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Experience in a rehabilitation or related acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital environment
- Familiarity with rehabilitation nursing standards and interdisciplinary team care models
- Strong patient and family education skills
