Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patient responses and documenting accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state license
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care environments
