Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Observation setting with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation
• Administer medications via Omnicell and manage IV therapy using Alaris pumps
• Participate in on-call rotation alongside full-time staff during periods of low census

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Arizona or compact eligibility
• Demonstrated Med-Surg clinical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to work a set day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Candidates should be aware that low-census cancellations may occur up to 3 times during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step-Down unit experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience with Alaris infusion pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
