Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 17:45–06:15 | Every third weekend required; every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrum
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient management
• Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and departmental policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a valid Compact license matching permanent residence (Missouri license may be submitted pending; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS certification required
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Prior experience charting in EPIC
