Occupational Therapist – Rehab OT (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for patients admitted to a rehab-focused, critical access hospital setting with predominantly swing bed patients
• Maintain a treatment-focused approach with a strong rehab mindset; emphasis is on active treatment rather than evaluation only
• Follow a workflow of approximately one patient per hour
• Utilize available lift equipment and a fully equipped rehab gym, including a functional kitchen, laundry setup, and outdoor therapy areas
• Document clinical activity using Cerner
• Float to an affiliated long-term care location within the same building as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (NC)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Ability to evaluate and treat a diverse inpatient rehab population

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or inpatient rehab setting
• Familiarity with swing bed or critical access hospital environments
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary rehab team alongside CNAs and rehab technicians
