Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown / progressive care unit (PCU/IMC) setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state license accepted for practice in NC
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
