Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) | Primarily Monday–Friday with some weekend coverage expected | Expected to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social work services within an acute care setting, supporting patients across medical and surgical units
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess patient needs and coordinate discharge planning
• Float between nearby sister facilities as required by the assignment
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of social work experience required; 2 years preferred
• Acute care / Med-Surg experience required
• Valid state license or active compact license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must submit 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms (locals may be considered at a modified rate)
• Former permanent employees of any affiliated health system facility must have been separated for a minimum of 3 months prior to eligibility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience working within large health system environments
• Flexibility with scheduling, including willingness to cover weekends and holidays as needed
