LVN / LPN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | No Call Required | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Month Expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 5:1 patient ratio
- Operate and utilize unit equipment including bladder scanner, vital sign machines, and telemetry monitoring
- Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and Patient Care Technicians on night shift
- Adhere to unit dress code requirements: navy blue scrubs with facility logo
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN / LPN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Hospital / acute care experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of nursing experience
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Telemetry monitoring familiarity
- Demonstrates an owner mentality and openness to feedback
