Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Float to like units based on skill set and demonstrated competencies as needed due to census demands
- Complete required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a valid multistate/compact RN license
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Must not be a first-time traveler — prior travel nursing experience required
- Must live more than 50 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible (night shift Medical Tele/Progressive Care applicants)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in both teaching hospital and community hospital settings
- Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
