Respiratory Therapist – Emergency Department (Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics)

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekends as needed | Float coverage at affiliated facilities may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an Emergency Department setting on a night shift schedule
• Float to affiliated facilities as needed to support staffing requirements
• Maintain compliance with all facility onboarding requirements, including annual hands-on competency and required modules
• Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
• Adhere to a nicotine-free, smoke-free facility policy — a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen is required within 12 months of start and updated annually

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active Ohio RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NBRC certification — must be in hand at time of submission (nothing pending)
• Active BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission (nothing pending)
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Emergency Department respiratory therapy role
• Familiarity with float or multi-site coverage in a large health system environment
• Experience meeting high-compliance travel or contract assignment requirements
