Travel – Speech Language Pathologist
Location
Richmond, VA | Inpatient Rehabilitation
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating weekends approximately one shift per month
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients across multiple diagnoses, including swallowing disorders and speech-language deficits within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies utilizing dedicated MBS suite equipment
- Utilize specialized equipment including Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, and Bioness BITs as clinically indicated
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment maintaining a patient-focused approach
- Float to acute hospital areas as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Virginia (VA) Speech-Language Pathology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with an adult patient population in a medical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neurological rehabilitation experience
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Patient-focused, team-oriented, and adaptable work style
