Contract | 13 or 26 Weeks | Days | Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital setting across assigned caseloads
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, safety, and recovery expectations
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of Florida
- Acute care experience is required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting with a bed capacity of 100 or more
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
