Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite | 10-hour Mid Shifts, 12:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday | On-call and holiday requirements apply

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, MR techniques, and MR patient positioning
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate care during examinations; perform venipuncture, manage IV access, and administer prescribed medications
• Select appropriate pulse sequences based on established protocols and factors affecting data acquisition parameters
• Evaluate medical images for quality and accurate patient identification
• Follow ACR MR safety guidelines, including access restrictions, patient and personnel screening, and monitoring and control of MR areas; apply MR safety principles including researching implanted devices to minimize risk
• Identify and respond to emergency situations; perform assigned quality assurance activities and educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience selecting and optimizing MR pulse sequences and data acquisition parameters
• Familiarity with a variety of MRI protocols across multiple clinical specialties
