Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents within a skilled nursing facility setting to restore or maintain functional independence
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive resident care
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs

Required Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• NBCOT certification (OTR) required or eligible
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekend rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid compliance requirements
• Experience with geriatric patient populations
