Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical operations within a designated nursing unit, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care delivery
• Lead and supervise a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, oversight, and support to promote adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards
• Serve as Charge RN as needed, maintaining accountability for unit-level clinical decision-making
• Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate unit coverage and operational continuity
• Facilitate staff education initiatives to support ongoing professional development and compliance with clinical standards
• Perform additional duties as identified to support unit leadership and overall patient satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Psychiatric (psych) nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
• Must submit a passing EKG test score of 80% or higher

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage both direct and indirect nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills with experience in staffing, scheduling, and staff education
