Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med-Surg Oncology unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, supporting patients receiving chemotherapy, diagnostic services, and symptom management
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias for patients undergoing chemotherapy administration
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, and ports, including blood product administration
• Implement and maintain heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention
• Operate specialized equipment including GE B450 telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, and Stryker beds
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed based on staffing priorities

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BCLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ABG interpretation
• Familiarity with chest tube insertion/removal assistance
