Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor and Delivery unit, including overflow, post-surgical, and observation patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6–7, supporting a unit transitioning to a team nursing model
• Participate in on-call duties and weekend rotation as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including LPNs, to ensure continuity of care
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius on an as-needed basis
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including holiday coverage obligations when applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Current BLS certification (documentation of renewal plan required if expiring during assignment)
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• BSN degree (ADN accepted for this position)
