Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care in an emergency department setting
• Perform excellent patient assessments and respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation using computer systems
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of patient care
• Support and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Required Qualifications

• Active Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license eligible for Maine
• Experience in emergency room or acute care nursing
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Experience in a critical access or rural hospital emergency department
