Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit setting
• May float to other units to care for the same patient population based on operational needs
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Participate in holiday coverage on at least an every-other-holiday basis
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent employment experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry
• BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location preferred, though combined experience across locations is considered
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation in an acute care environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules
