Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Medical/Surgical and Critical Care Unit.
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and administer medications accurately.
• Manage catheter care, peripheral IVs, and wound care as needed.
• Collect laboratory specimens and document patient progress meticulously.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case management and providers, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support patient recovery and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for diverse patient populations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active nursing license in the state of Indiana.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working night shifts.
• Comfortable managing a varied patient caseload from different age groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
