Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Mid Shift | 7 on/7 off schedule with a combination of 12-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 10:30 PM) and 10-hour shifts (12:00 PM – 10:30 PM) | Weekend and holiday rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing across multiple disciplines in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Analyze and report laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Adhere to quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
- Participate in weekend and holiday schedule rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) experience
- ASCP, NCA, AMT, or equivalent certification required; candidates eligible for certification must obtain it within 6 months of hire
- Associate degree in a relevant field or appropriate Military Training that qualifies for ASCP or NCA certification eligibility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Active ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification at time of hire
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care laboratory setting
