Registered Nurse – Operating Room

OR Circulator RN (Registered Nurse – Operating Room)

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite | Days | 4x10s or 5x8s (variable start time) | On-call required 6–8 shifts per month including weekends | 2 holidays per year on a rotating basis

Key Responsibilities

• Perform the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver safe, evidence-based care
• Serve as circulating RN in the operating room under the supervision of nursing department management
• Operate within defined scope of practice to ensure patient safety throughout surgical procedures
• Fulfill on-call obligations including weekend coverage (Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology as needed

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree (RN)
• Active RN license – compact or Kansas state license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (may be obtained after hire)
• Ability to fulfill on-call and weekend rotation requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an operating room or perioperative setting
• Familiarity with procedural areas such as interventional radiology or pain management
